  • Scan for open ports at IP address

    I don't know how to ask this question without violating EE's Terms of Service. Is it possible to scan for open ports at a particular IP address? Most services of this type scan only MY static IP.   • Unable to redirect ports - Netopia r910

    I previously open/routed port 3389 to a computer in the network. I deleted the filter set and created a new one to direct 3389 to another computer. However, 3389 still points to the old computer - even when the old filter and newly created one is deleted!

  • I need to open port 1433 on a Linksys router.

    A software tech has asked me to open port 1433 to give him SQL access via our static IP on the internet. I have a linksys etherfast Cable/DSL router and I can't determine how to do it. I am able to log into the router but I can't figure out what to do to open that port.
