Application Hang event id 101

Hi,
We have a strange issue with an application that keeps crashing it's a real estate software.
Whenever we make a change and try to save it to the database it hangs then crashes with the "send dont send" screen. It happens all over he network however it does not happen on the server and also fine if the data base is local on the workstation so it seems to be a network issue however it worked fine with a random foreign laptop that I tested with on the network. It also works OK in safe mode but slow. Ruled out AV also turned off almost all running services but still no joy. Could it be a NIC driver? Dr Watson also crashes when this happens.

Solution: Application Hang event id 101

Resolved:
It was caused by the "Network location awareness" MS service, disabled it and all looks good. However not sure what the side effects will be. Does anyone know?
