in

wifi connection issues

I have a laptop vista & a win 7 workstation which has  a pci wifi card

Both machines can see wifi connection "netgear"

laptop can connection with "shared", "wep" , "12345"

When i try and connect using my Win7 machine using identical connection setting my status say "connecting", occassionaly it say "connected with limited access.". then is usually disconnects.

when i check the error logs i see "Name resolution for the name time.windows.com timed out"

not sure if that is related.

Solution: wifi connection issues

take a look channels.
is it 802.11b/g ? try using channel 1, 6 or 11
