Nokia E51, VoIP, Asterisk

Hi,

Outbound calls are working perfect on VoIP. However, incoming calls do not work.

When an incoming call from a outside line are made to the VOIP number. The callers phone ring.
The nokia E51 receiver of the call, shows the incoming call on the display, however when a answer the call. The phone freezes and dont pick up the incoming line, while the callers continue to receive a ringing tone until it goes to voice mail. After the caller put down the phone, the Nokia phone is still frozen with no functionality/buttons working. I practically have to take the battery out to switch of and switch back on.

In coming calls works fine on all other standard voip clients.

Any ideas?

3. Proxy server settings and add:

Password: [ext.no]

Allow loose routing: Yes

Transport type: UDP

Port: 5060

4. Registar server and add:

Registrar serv.addr.: sip: xx.xx.xx.xx

Realm: - asterisk

User name: - [ext.no]

Password: - [ext.no]

Transport type: UDP

Port: 5060

Solution: Nokia E51, VoIP, Asterisk

It has to be a bug with the phone. Try seeing if there is a new firmware available for it or contact nokia support.

You might want to remove the real, username and password from the registrar settings as I dont have them set on my phone and it works ok.
